It all happened so organically – their meeting, our meeting, their seamless wedding. These two are so in love. And we are in love with the fact that they own the surf bar closest to our house in Mexico and we get to see them regularly both at their restaurant and out on the surf break.
They wanted a wedding that was uniquely them – one that celebrated their Mexican roots with a beachy, bohemian twist. The chose to do a traditional indigenous ceremony to honor the earth and their heartfelt connection. Their reception felt more like a mini concert than a traditional wedding. Guests danced to mariachis, gypsy music, a rock band and DJ and even a fire dancer. But the best thing about their wedding was the community of friends and family they brought together to celebrate from across Mexico. Que viva el amor!
